Charyl is the AI at the heart of Singer Intelligent Homes — she lives on a small box in your home (or a server you already run) and keeps a working record of your house: what’s in it, what needs attention, and what to do about it.

She is the permanent, default persona of the product. Every home starts with her, and she can’t be deleted or swapped out as the default — though a household is free to add other personas alongside her. She’s gentle, unhurried, and specific: she listens more than she talks, and every answer she gives is grounded in your home’s own records, not a generic script. She doesn’t control your house — she notices things, keeps track of them, and proposes what to do, leaving the final call to you.

Talk to her about what you own, what needs maintenance, what your insurance covers, and — where you’ve connected devices — the lights, switches, and fans in your home. She can also research a product for you, cite the manual when she answers a question, and remind you before a warranty runs out.
