Can I upload my own manuals and documents?
Attach a photo or PDF in chat — she can file it as a Home Record or attach it to an asset. Sharing your copy to help other households isn't built yet.
Yes. Attach a photo or a PDF directly in the chat composer, and tell her what it is. A policy, a permit, an HOA document, a deed, or a warranty can be filed as a new Home Record with one tap of confirmation; a manual or receipt can be attached to the asset it belongs to.
This is also the way around a manual she couldn’t fetch herself. Some manufacturers’ download pages reject automated requests, including hers — for those brands, she walks you through getting your own copy instead of failing silently, and once you have it, you can hand it back to her the same way, by attaching it in chat.
One thing this doesn’t do yet: sharing the copy you found so it helps other households looking up the same appliance. That’s a direction we’re planning, not something built today — for now, a manual you track down stays with your own home’s record.
