Can I be notified when something happens at home?

Yes, two ways — rules you set up yourself that name the device, and Charyl's own generic nudges about warranties, maintenance, and things worth adding.

There are two different kinds of notifications, and they behave differently on purpose. A rule you write yourself — “tell me when the garage door opens,” authored from the Devices tab — names the device right in the push, because you’re the one who asked for it and you already know what it’s about.

Charyl’s own notifications work differently. When she has something for you — a warranty coming up, maintenance that’s due, a research follow-up finishing — the push itself stays generic: it tells you to open the app to review, never the specific item, so a glanced-at lock screen doesn’t hand over what’s in your inventory. The detail is waiting for you once you open it.

She’ll also occasionally offer, at most once in a while and only in conversation, to help fill in something obviously missing from your home’s record — never as an accusation, always as a one-tap offer you can wave off.

Nothing here is a device Charyl acts on unasked; every path above is either a rule you set up, or a notice waiting for your review.
