Can Charyl build dashboards?
Yes — describe what you want and she drafts it, appends cards, or edits an existing one; anything structural asks for a confirm, and deleting asks you to type the name.
“Build me a dashboard for the garage” is enough to start one. Charyl grounds herself in what your home actually has — your existing dashboards, the card types available, the devices in that space — before she drafts anything, so she isn’t guessing at what could go on the card.
Every change that creates or restructures a dashboard waits for a confirm tap: adding it, appending a card, removing one, renaming it, or rolling it back to an earlier layout. Deleting a dashboard asks for more than a tap — you type the dashboard’s name to confirm, since that one can’t be undone.
Not every edit needs a confirm, though. Purely cosmetic changes — recoloring a card, changing a unit, adjusting a sparkline’s thresholds — apply immediately, because they can’t misrepresent what a card is bound to. The moment an edit touches what a card actually shows or controls, it’s back to a confirm.
Dashboards you build are yours to edit from the web app; on the mobile app, they render and update live but are built on the larger screen.
