Can I talk to Charyl by voice?
Press and hold to talk to her in the mobile app — she shows you what she heard before it sends, and can read her answers back.

Voice input lives in the mobile app: hold the microphone, speak, and your phone’s own speech recognizer turns it into text you can look over and edit before it goes to Charyl — nothing is sent until you confirm it. She can also speak her replies aloud, using your home’s own local voice engine by default; a nicer, cloud-based voice exists as an opt-in extra you’d need to turn on yourself, never a default. On the web app, spoken replies are available too, off by default, since a desktop usually sits in a shared room.
Press and hold, not always listening
This is press-and-hold voice input with a review step before anything sends — not hands-free or wake-word activation. Charyl never listens continuously in the background.
Voice is in early access — built and working, but newer than the rest of the mobile app, so treat it as a genuinely useful extra rather than the primary way to reach her just yet.
