Why does naming rooms and floors well matter?

Clear room names are how she resolves questions like 'what's in the kitchen' — and they're the same names shown on your home map.

A lot of the fastest, most useful questions you can ask Charyl are scoped to a room: “what do I own in the kitchen,” “what was the average temperature upstairs today.” She answers those by matching what you said against the room names on file for your home — so the clearer those names are, the more reliably she finds the right room on the first try.

“Primary Bedroom” and “Bedroom 2” resolve cleanly. “Room” and “The Other Room” don’t give her much to work with, and neither would a person you asked the same question.

These are the same names you’ll see throughout the web app — on the home map, in the asset list, in every room-scoped answer she gives you. Renaming a room once, early, saves you from typing out a longer description every time you ask about it afterward.
