What does the subscription include?

Six things, bundled as one subscription:

• The AI behind Charyl. Chat, on the box as it ships today, and as a fallback anywhere a capable local model or your own key isn’t available.
• Product research. Looking up a product by its make and model, always a Charyl Cloud feature, on any path.
• Automatic encrypted backups. Once you’re paired, your home backs up nightly without you doing anything.
• Remote access through the relay. Reaching your home from outside your network, including remote camera live view.
• Mobile push notifications. Alerts on your phone when Charyl has something for you, or a device rule fires.
• Updates. New releases apply themselves in a maintenance window, health-checked, with automatic rollback if one comes up unhealthy.

Nothing to assemble — one subscription carries all of it, no keys to obtain, no backup settings to manage, no provider to choose.

Self-hosting without a subscription still gets you the platform itself — inventory, devices, sensors, rules, Home Records, manuals — just without these specifically.
