How do I connect my home to Charyl Cloud?
Sign in during setup, or later from Settings — the same tab redirects you back, already paired, with no key to copy.
Sign in during first-run setup, or later from Settings — the same browser tab redirects you back, already paired. Choose to run Charyl through Charyl Cloud, and the wizard sends you to sign in, no separate app or popup involved. Sign in, or create an account, and you’re returned to your home automatically, already connected. You never see or copy a key; the connection is minted directly into your home’s own database.
If you self-hosted first and skipped this, you can pair later the same way, from Settings.
Pairing is what turns on the parts of Charyl that need Charyl Cloud: automatic encrypted backups, push notifications to your phone, product research, and cloud-routed chat if you’re not using your own AI key. Each home you connect keeps its own subscription and backups — pairing a second home never touches the first, and canceling one never affects another.
