Charyl runs on the box: a small piece of hardware we set up for you. Its exact hardware isn’t finalized yet, so we won’t name a specific model here, but the plan is for it to be modest, quiet, and always on. Wired Ethernet is worth using over Wi-Fi, since the box holds a persistent connection so your phone can reach home when you’re away.
Charyl’s conversations run through Charyl Cloud, so the box needs its internet connection and the subscription for her to chat.
