What if I move, or have more than one home?
Today Charyl keeps one home — moving means a fresh setup, and owning several homes under one account isn't built yet.
Today, Charyl keeps one home. A box or a self-hosted install is built around a single property — there’s no way yet to switch between properties from one account, or to hand a home’s Charyl over to its next owner.
If you move, the honest answer right now is that setting up Charyl at your new address is its own fresh start — carrying your old home’s history along, or transferring ownership cleanly to a buyer, isn’t built yet.
Multiple properties under one account, and a clean handoff at closing, are both directions we expect to need — they’re on our list, just not real yet. If you’re a builder asking on a buyer’s behalf, see What does the homebuyer get at closing? for how a new home is set up today.
