Can other people in my household use Charyl?

Yes. In the web app, an admin opens People → Members and adds a login for anyone in the household — a name, an email, a password, and a role.

The roles: Homeowner and Resident can see everything and propose or make changes to your home’s records, like an appliance or a repair. Guest can look around, chat with Charyl, and turn lights, switches and fans on or off, but can’t propose or edit records, and can’t unlock a door or open a cover. Admin is the role that can change settings and manage the people and phones on the box; the account that first set up the home has it.

These logins are created on your home’s box — they aren’t separate Charyl Cloud accounts, and Charyl Cloud doesn’t keep their names or email addresses. One person owns the Charyl Cloud connection for the home. When someone uses the mobile app, though, their sign-in travels through Charyl Cloud, so Charyl can answer as them. An admin can reset anyone’s password directly from that same screen, with no email link required.
